Article Index:System BoardsAqualink RS – The RS system boards give you the ability to use any controller interface offered by Zodiac, iAquaLink, PDA, many more. This board options include an energy savings plan, temperature priority logic and the ability to control landscape lighting. RS systems also offer six macro controls, a macro is the ability to program one button that will operate multiple circuits at one time, such as programming one macro as “spa” which can move two valve actuators to spa only position, turn on the main pump, air blower, heater and spa lights. You can also integrate pH control, integration with home automation, iAquaLink control and programing, and 8 or 4 function spa side controls.Pool/Spa Combo These boards are designed to control two bodies of water using one set of equipment. Will control up to four 3HP relays to control pumps, blowers, lights and other equipment. Includes two valve actuators, includes no relays (four are included in the power center).
My indoor controller for my Jandy aqualink rs4 is malfunctioning, at times all the lights are on and at other times there appears to be no power to the board. During rest the codes 6700 and 6522 are displayed. All other equipment is still functioning properly.

However, when it comes to programing they can be programed to utilize an AUX function.
Otherwise they can be utilized on a macro setting and not use up an AUX function.Q: Does a 12v light use a relay?A: Yes, 12v lights must be wired through a transformer to adjust the electrical current, then they can be wired into a relay and assigned an AUX function, or programmed as part of a macro.Q: Does a 110v light use a relay?A: Yes, 110v lights are wired into a relay and assigned an AUX function or programmed as part of a macro.Q: Does a salt cell take the spot of a relay? Is a salt cell 110v or 12v?A: No, a salt cell does not use a relay. Salt cells require a dedicated power source for operation, because of that you need to select the one of the PureLink power centers ( if you have a breaker panel at your equipment).Q: Does a Heater use a relay?A: Heaters do not use a relay for operating, they just wire directly into the system board. Which also means they do not use up an AUX function, they will have their own buttons and support.
Heaters can also be programmed as part of a macro.AquaLink PDA – The PDA boards are much like the RS boards except it includes the AquaLink Wireless Remote (PDA), but also offers the ability to install the iAquaLink module allowing you to control everything from your smartphone or computer.
