You will be asked to verify your email address with the mods. The monthly licenses from other vendors eFolder, Gillware give serial numbers that are good for v5.0 OR SPX. I'm wondering if the same is true for Labtech? The reps didn't really know. I ordered some desktop licenses to test but who knows when they will arrive.

I want to use SPX for my desktops with ShadowControl to set a backup policy automatically. As I understand it, SC can only monitor SP 5.x, it can't create jobs.Any one know if Labtech SP licenses also work in SPX despite not being supported by Labtech?UPDATE: The ones from Labtech were strictly 5.0 keys, they have been cancelled, I'll be ordering directly from StorageCraft for my desktop licenses.

I doubt the serial numbers are any different than from eFolder or any other 3rd party vendor but I can't confirm compatibility.As I understand it, the un-supported issue is related to the LT Backup Manager plugin not working with SPX, not a licensing issue. SPX jobs can send alerts to LT/PSA via email until the plugin is upgraded. Downside is once the plugin is updated it may require a reinstall on the client in order to manage it via Backup Manager. Since you are using ShadowControl and not the LT Backup Manager the compatibility issue may not come into play.
